One angel reads, another prays, and another plays guitar. These angels are made from natural abaca fibers over a cardboard form. Abaca, also known as Manila hemp, is a biodegradable and sustainable fiber from the stalk of the plant. It's used for making ships' ropes, fishing lines and nets, and tea bags. The Phillipines is the largest source of abaca fiber for cordage and specialty paper pulp.
